2019 will probably always be remembered in Jefferson City as the "Year of the Tornado".
We want to help make 2020 be remembered as the "Year of Recovery".

Safe, decent, affordable housing is what Habitat for Humanity is known for throughout the world. After 27 years here in Jefferson City, we have built or renovated over 109 homes. But sadly affordable housing has still been difficult to find in our town. Then on May 22, 2019, a tornado raged through our town and made the problem even worse.

From the moments after the tornado, a new story began: Our Road to Recovery. And River City Habitat has been at the forefront of the issue, working with our community to figure out ways to rebuild and recover.

We are proud to announce our plans for 2020 and how we are going to help our town recover and families rebuild.
